At first the grapes were sold to other wine producers in the area. However, Guillem was aware of the Mas del Saura's potential. So, after trying several times to find someone who could produce wine exclusively from his own vine, he began thinking about producing the wine himself. He was eventually persuaded to do so by several family members and a small group of friends. These are the origins of Llicorella Vins SL, which was formally set up at the start of the new century.

The company's aim is to make the best fruits of the Mas de Saura estate available to everyone by producing wines of excellent quality. The soul and driving forces of the cellar are: Mònica Cambra, oenologist and manager, Eduard Arnal, administrator, and Guillem Arnal, viticulturist in charge of wine production.
